We hear often of the drowned Sailors hypnotized by a Siren’s song
How the waves crashed his ship into the suffocating Sea
Filled his bowels into oblivion
Taking his last breathe away
But what of the Siren?
Have you ever heard the sound of a Siren’s heartbreak?
The wail that activates volcanoes
Tears that start tsunamis
That pain that could only be survived by the Universe’s most abundant souls could survive
We instead remember the Sailors pain
The pain of a man
What he lost from the storm
How hurt he is from my song
By my tears
By my heart he threw a spear
The Siren’s curse is to be forgotten.
To love so hard no Sailor could survive.
